🚫 What we don't allow
- • Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks

- • Spam, excessive promotion, or commercial solicitation
- • Misinformation or deliberately false information
- • Content that could harm children or families
- • Illegal activities or encouraging harmful behaviour
- • Excessive off-topic discussions
- • Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- • Attempting to circumvent platform safety features
Content guidelines
Sharing educational content
- • Focus on your family's experience rather than prescriptive advice
- • Include context about your situation (child's age, learning style, etc.)
- • Acknowledge that approaches may not work for every family
- • Share both successes and challenges for authentic perspective
- • Respect copyright when sharing external resources
Discussion etiquette
- • Stay on topic and contribute meaningfully to discussions
- • Read existing comments before posting to avoid repetition
- • Use clear, respectful language that builds understanding
- • Acknowledge when you're sharing opinion vs. fact
- • Be gracious when corrected and open to learning
Marketplace & exchange
- • Provide accurate descriptions and fair pricing
- • Communicate clearly and respond promptly to enquiries
- • Honour commitments and arrangements made
- • Report any issues with transactions for community safety
- • Focus on resource sharing rather than commercial sales
Privacy & safety
Protecting your family
- • Use your pet name as your primary identity
- • Be cautious about sharing personal details publicly
- • Meet new community members in public spaces initially
- • Trust your instincts about interactions and relationships
- • Review and update your privacy settings regularly
Respecting others' privacy
- • Don't share photos that include other people's children
- • Ask permission before sharing private conversations
- • Respect others' chosen level of identity disclosure
- • Don't pressure anyone to share more than they're comfortable with
- • Use content warnings for sensitive or triggering topics
Guideline enforcement
Our approach
We believe in education and community accountability rather than punishment. When guidelines are violated, we typically reach out with education, provide opportunity for course correction, work to resolve conflicts, and remove content that violates guidelines. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.
Serious violations
Some behaviours result in immediate action to protect community safety:
- • Threats of violence or harm
- • Harassment or stalking behaviour
- • Sharing others' private information without consent
- • Content that endangers children or families
- • Illegal activities or encouraging harmful behaviour
Reporting process
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the “Report” button on any piece of content. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24–48 hours. For urgent safety concerns, emailadmin_recenter@gmail.com immediately.
Guidelines updates
These guidelines evolve as our community grows. We'll notify the community of any significant changes and always welcome feedback on how to improve our shared standards.
